Why do they cost so much?

I think we are all craving something authentic these days, and another machine made Wayfair rug is not going to give us the same magic as a hand knotted, thoughtfully designed fine rug. Many of our vendors use centuries old designs with rich meanings, but update the scale and colors to make them relevant today.
